Zuffa sells minority stake of UFC to Abu Dhabi Sheik

Reported By Decado
1/8/2010

Fiveouncesofpain.com is reporting that Zuffa LLC, owners of the UFC, have sold a minority stake in the worlds largest MMA organisation to Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheik Tahnoon is better known as the founder of the ADCC, the prestigious grappling tournament held in Abu Dhabi.

Apparently BJJ legend, Renzo Gracie has been a key player in sealing the deal, and this is part of the reason he has been brought back into the UFC fold.

Further details have not been forthcoming, however it is expected that more news will leak shortly.

Its cool. So maybe this guy had something to do with the UFC holding a pay-per-view over in Abu Dubai, not sure how to sell it, and apparently it will be out in the night/day in the open, like WM 3 and 24.
