This list is a joke anymore. If I ever see any current WWE star pass Bruno I will riot. The fact that The Rock, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker are not even on the top 10 list is a travesty. 3 names who blazed a trail in this business are being beat out by the likes of Batista and John Cena? What has WWE come to? Oh! Thats right! They've come to a PG rating.... sad day.

I have to say in the time of Austin the title had a lot of heavy hitters going after it.  It just seemed during Austin's time in the business whoever was champ had a huge target on their back and was getting attacked in several different ways by several different people.  Look at Batista's current run. Does he have to look over his shoulder?  Nope!  Its almost as if nobody wants to be champion...

within 5 years of his first title reign, John Cena will have almost 1,000 days as champion, if he wrestles for 15 more years at this current rate he will beat Bruno Sammartino if you do the math. My Lord will that be a sad day.

You also have to account for the fact that there are two championship belts out there at the moment. I'm pretty sure a lot of those people on that list didn't have double the chance of coming upon a world heavywieght championship!

If they were in WWF they had the WWF as the only heavyweight title, while the IC title was the second title. I'm assuming the WHW title in WCW is also being added to the amount of days as champion, but not that many could get their hands on it.

As someone said before, there are 2 belts now classed as 'world' championships.

If Austin or the Rock were here today, you wouldn't get the belt off them!

Batista has taken his chances, thats all. If other guys had been good enough, then he wouldn't be anywhere near this list, but they aren't.

this stat is wrong, the list given here is for the wwe title and batista has 500+ days as a world heavyweight champ, he has less than 50 days as a wwe champ
