Isnt it fitting that this guy, who has done nothing to be in the WWE H.O.F will be inducted by another guy (Pete Rose) who like Uecker, has done nothing to be in it. This is why the Hall of Fame for WWE is turning into a joke. A celebrity makes an appearence or two and he gets inducted? Next your gonna tell me that Johnathan Taylor Thomas is gonna get inducted because he was a special guest time keeper at Wrestlemania. Fuck that. Do these guys deserve to be in a Baseball Hall of fame? Sure. But not a wrestling one. To all the people who busted their ass to be in the WWE H.O.F and to be joined by these clowns, I pity you. I really do.

other than having a moment which is one of the most memorable in wrestling history, a memory with the biggest name in wrestling during the 70's and 80's Andre, he called 2 wrestlemania's thats something right? Jerry Lawler sure as hell is a hall of famer but he never even wrestled at mania, and it sure wasn't his WWE career that put him in the HOF

Yeah but I was wrong. I was the di##head who said the HOF is a joke, but I must be wrong is the trolls on here say so. Right? Give me a break. I put up a blog saying that the HOF is virtually a joke, and guys like this are inducted? Induct some real wrestlers who bust their asses off to entertain us.

Ok, so you'd rather have someone who doesnt wrestle at all and has next to no association with the business get into a WRESTLING H.O.F than someone who at least trys to wrestle and entertain but falls short of a few criteria.. that makes sense. Seriously do you believe the crap your posting?

But why even have a celebrity wing in your "hall of fame"? Can't you call it something else besides the hall of fame, so you can thank the celebs without placing them in the same general category as Bret Hart and Ric Flair and Steve Austin, etc. (People who gave their lives, 24/7/365 to the business, as opposed to someone who spent 3 nights hosting some wrestlemanias???

It won't matter. Because soon the only Hall of Fame that will be left standing will be the TNA HALL OF FAME!
And it will have blood inside of it. And statues of half-naked girls. And a statue of Hulk Hogan in front with his daughter begging him like Athena to Zeus, in that perfect dramatic beckoning of hers, and it will be leafed in gold and placed up high in front of an actual building (unlike WWE's soon-to-be-vestigial hall of fame, which doesn't have a physical location)!

The poem's not bad. It's kinda funny actually.
Plus, anyone who doesn't realize by now that "Bubba" is a WWE mark is an idiot.
Also, Bubba: shouldn't "Shall" be "Shalt" and "you" be "thou" if you're using old english with "thee" at the end? I'm not expert or nothing. Just a thought.

Celebrity inductions really are inconsequential. I agree with the comment that it shames the Hall of Fame if wrestlers who don't deserve that recognition are inducted.
But Vince will induct into the celebrity wing to get that main stream media attention. It sells.
It's not like this guy is the centrepiece of the hall or of the night itself anyway.

It doesnt matter how much media attention Vince wants to have, the mainstream media will never like wrestling, it never has and it never will. He needs to get over this fantasy in his messed up brain that one day the media will be very kind to it. Wrestling doesnt need the media to get over as much as some people think it does, what about its loyal fans?
